Are tickets required to attend the festival?

What happens if it rains?

All VIP ticket sales are final. All events, prices, personalities, performances, venues, dates and times are subject to change without notice. Short bouts of rain are common in Tennessee this time of year. Performances will proceed in the rain unless weather conditions become threatening to performers or the audience. In the event of severe inclement weather, the safety of our patrons is our greatest concern. Any deviation from our performance schedule will be announced from the stage.

What should I bring to the festival?

Are there ATMs at the festival?

Prohibited items

NO guns, knives, other weapons, or dangerous devices of any kind

NO backpacks or luggage

NO coolers

NO outside alcoholic beverages. Only alcoholic beverages purchased from a designated official event vendor are allowed on the site.

NO drones or other remote-controlled aerial or ground-based devices

NO beach or pole-style umbrellas

NO wagons or pull-carts

NO illegal substances, drugs or drug paraphernalia

NO fireworks

NO laser pointers

NO pop-up tents

NO inserting stakes, poles or any other objects into the ground, or use of ropes, cords, tape, etc. to reserve space

NO unauthorized vending, sales, sampling, solicitation or distribution of materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, giveaways, etc. (event credentials required)

NO unauthorized personal transport devices (including bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, Segways, golf carts, mopeds, scooters, electric scooters, or any personal motorized vehicles other than wheelchairs or ADA devices)

NO unauthorized amplification devices permitted which disrupt event production, including handheld megaphones

NO performances or demonstrations of any type outside of the designated freedom of expression zone

NO audio recorders or video cameras

NO pedicabs or pedal taverns

NO noisemakers (musical instruments, bullhorns, air horns, whistles, etc.)

NO hammocks or attaching anything to any park structures or trees

NO camera stands, monopods, tripods, attachment sticks or selfie sticks

NO aerosol containers of any kind

NO throwing objects

NO professional-grade radios or walkie-talkies

NO large chains or spiked jewelry

Security and medical assistance

We make every effort to ensure all guests enjoy Live On The Green Music Festival in a safe and secure environment. On-site security is provided by the Nashville Metro Police Department, the Parks & Recreation Department, and private event security contractors. If at any time you should require assistance, see any on-site security team member, police officer, or Live On The Green staff member.

Minor medical assistance is available at the First Aid tent. Please see the festival site map for specific location. For medical emergencies, find the nearest event staff member, metro police officer, or dial 911.

Can I bring a pet?

LIVE ON THE GREEN IS A PET-FRIENDLY MUSIC FESTIVAL; WE WELCOME FURRY CREATURES OF…MOST VARIETIES.

Please note, while pets are allowed on-site at Live On The Green, NO PETS are allowed inside the VIP hospitality area. If you plan to attend Live On The Green as a VIP, please plan accordingly. Pet owners who are planning to bring their pet with them to the event, be aware of the following…

It is REQUIRED BY LAW that your animal remain on a leash and within your control at all times in a public place. For the safety and security of all festival-goers, we take this rule very seriously. You should as well. Secondly, this is a concert. It will be loud. It will be crowded. There will be other animals. If your pet does not handle such environments well, you should think twice before bringing it. Finally, please be courteous to your fellow festival-goers and pick up after your pet.

Where do I park?

During the show you may drop off or pick up any lost & found items at the Lightning 100 tent on-site. For post-show lost & found inquiries you may contact us at the Lightning 100 studio at (615) 242-5600 or email info@liveonthegreen.com. Live On The Green, Lightning 100, and Tuned In Broadcasting, Inc. will not be held liable for any unclaimed items.

Accessibility

We are committed to ensuring that all festival-goers have the opportunity to enjoy Live On The Green Music Festival. We are a fully accessible event and are dedicated to providing accommodations for all patrons with special needs.

The festival grounds and facilities are wheelchair accessible. Handicapped parking is available at the garage located beneath the Live On The Green event site. For more detailed information on festival accessibility, please click here.

Redesigned in 2003, Public Square Park is a two acre award-winning green space conveniently located in the heart of downtown Nashville. The park is situated directly in front of Nashville’s historic Metropolitan Courthouse, which serves as a fantastic backdrop for our Live On The Green Music Festival.

TRANSPORTATION

GETTING TO THE FESTIVAL

Walk/Bike Nashville will be on-site at Live On The Green providing free, secure valet bicycle parking at the corner of 3rd Avenue North and Union Street each week. There is also a B-Station on this corner as well to rent and/or return your B-Cycle at just $5.00 for the day. If you’re looking to avoid fighting the traffic altogether, the MTA bus is the cheapest option at only $3.60! For more options, visit Transit Now Nashville.

ON-DEMAND TRANSPORTATION

Lyft is the official rideshare partner of Live On The Green. Take a Lyft ride to avoid the stress of parking, and get dropped off right at the festival. The official rideshare pickup/drop-off areas are located at the corner of James Robertson Pkwy and 3rd Ave, as well as Deaderick St and 4th Ave (just past the food trucks). PARKING

PUBLIC SQUARE GARAGE – $10 PARKING

Parking is $10 and is available at the garage located directly beneath Public Square Park. The garage entrance is located on James Robertson Parkway directly behind the Metro Courthouse. Additional information on Public Square Garage can be found here. Please be aware that parking capacity in the garage is limited and WILL SELL OUT each week. Arrive early if you want a good spot.

OTHER PARKING

Additional parking is available at a variety of downtown locations.

NISSAN STADIUM – $5 PARKING

Nissan Stadium has graciously allowed us the use of a few of their parking lots. Event parking will be permitted in lots E and F*. Please ONLY park in one of these designated lots. Parking in any other Nissan Stadium lots may result in the towing of your vehicle. A short walk over the Woodland St bridge will bring you back to the Live On The Green event site. There will be a $5 charge for parking in these lots. Please be cautious when making your way back across the Woodland St bridge.
